For most trail runners 10km distances per day would be laughed at and you certainly wouldn’t travel 4000km with 2 dogs. But don’t get distracted by the distance or you will miss the whole point. This was a very rare opportunity to do a trial run with my four-legged running partners in one of the most beautiful, unspoiled places in South Africa.
